Serta’s Pure Response is a Talalay latex mattress line the company touts as made from the most breathable and resilient type of latex available today. Talalay latex is a hand-harvested substance processed the same day it is harvested, the latex milk frothed and poured into a molding similar to a nail bed and flash frozen until bubbling creates tiny pinholes for ventilation and durability, then the mold is heated to cure and stabilize the substance before multiple washings and drying.
The Serta Pure Response incorporates the company’s trademarked Comfort Quilt material for the topmost layer, aimed at heightening the cushion that reduces sleep shift discomfort. And the Talalay is insulated by surrounding high-density sidewalls of foam, allowing more sleep surface and designed to prevent sinking edging. The Pure Response line includes twelve models of either firm or plush composition.
